Free to all, there's something for anyone at Guthrie Green. Explore our events below to inspire your next visit to the Green.

Play

For the young and young at heart, our wide open green space sets the scene for a game of tag, catch or anything your imagination can conjure up (with respect to other park goers). Even when hot Tulsa summers roll around, splash pads keep the fun going.

Eat

Food Truck Wednesdays are the best days to forget to pack your lunch and get your grub on. Of course, picnics on the lawn are just as pleasant any other day of the week.

Relax

It's not uncommon to see sunbathing, yoga, or people enjoying live music on any given day at the park. However you find your center, find it here.

How Green is Guthrie Green?

It’s hard to believe now, but the thriving community town square and green space you see in the middle of the Tulsa Arts District was once an industrial freight yard and dump site.

Thanks to a combination of grant money and public funding, the space was completely transformed. The removal of an old gas station, twelve rusted fuel tanks holding contaminants, and the surrounding soil marked the beginning of a new era that would see this part of town become a staple of the Tulsa experience.

Since its inception, we have made efforts to keep the park as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible.

Our park technology includes:

LED Lighting
Bioswales
HPGX Geothermal Well Field
Solar Panels

Solar Panels
Solar panels sit atop of our north-end pavilion, and add to the overall energy grid for park operations
HPGX Geothermal Well Field
The geo-exchange system circulates water to transfer the heat up from the earth in the winter and take heat down to the earth in the summer

A beautiful space! Winter spring summer fall, they cater to the community with culturally diverse and exciting activities. I have come to Ballet on the Green for the past 5 years and it's always a wonderful time. Guthrie Green is also a spot to look into every first Friday as they participate in Art Crawl, an event where Tulsa night life comes alive! Thankful for the Green!

Awesome public event park with plenty of room for a city Tulsa's size. I've been to several events at this park, and they're always a blast!
