Blue Whale Comedy Festival Movie in the Park: “Coming 2 America”

August’s Movie in the Park kicks off the laughter in downtown Tulsa as Blue Whale Comedy Fest returns August 25! Our next free film on the Green features “Coming 2 America” (2021), the sequel to the ‘80s classic “Coming to America.”

Before the show, enjoy a concert by Freak Juice featuring Tori Ruffin and Charlie Redd! Tori Ruffin, Freak Juice’s guitarist, is the guitarist in the band Sexual Chocolate featured in both of the Coming to America movies. Now, Tori and Charlie live in Tulsa and own Juicemaker Lounge, a live music venue in town! Plus, local comedian Sondra Slade will host a “mom and dad joke-off” with audience members! The best joke will win a free Blue Whale Comedy t-shirt!

Pre-show activities will begin at 7 p.m., and the showing will start at 8 p.m.
