Prepare for an unforgettable sensory journey as Guthrie Green premieres a brand-new immersive light and sound installation on Friday, October 25. The special kickoff event will feature live performances from notable regional artists, including The Makers Out and Lincka (OKC), followed by a night garden dance party hosted by The Links.
In collaboration with Dreamspace Lab, The Makers Out, and Artists Creative Fund, Silver Seed is a public, sensory-shifting art installation inspired by nature and human interaction. The centerpiece, a large silver seed, draws from Neil Young's "After the Gold Rush," offering an immersive, transformative experience. The reflective outer shell symbolizes resilience and curiosity, while the soft, warm interior, with pulsing lights and an ambient score by The Makers Out, creates a calm, womb-like atmosphere. This dualistic design invites exploration from the known to the unknown.
Tulsa-based artists Dreamspace Lab and The Makers Out collaborate to redefine experiential art and public performance. Dreamspace Lab excels in creating groundbreaking visuals and immersive installations, while The Makers Out blend music, sound, science, and stagecraft into engaging multimedia experiences. Together, they fuse their talents to produce transformative, multi-dimensional experiential art that captivates and inspires, establishing themselves as a dynamic force in contemporary art.
